Jeddah Airport Heavy Maintenance Hangar



The Hangar total dimensions were around 89 meters by 166 meters with variable height from 25 meters to 30 meters. Based on the client request high wind speed was used in the analysis and design. Full lateral and vertical load analysis was conducted .Design process was according to American design codes (AISC and ASCE) . Our scope was to construct full structural computer model and conduct complete member design and to provide the client with both the model, final design sections and total expected weight of the structure to submit his tender for construction. The founder did this task when he was a part time senior engineer at Pyramids Consultant office.
